The 2025 season saw Italy back on the highest step of the Giro del Belvedere podium with former Junior Road World Champion and actually U23 Road World Champion, Lorenzo Finn. The brightest star of Italian cycling took a commanding victory on the roads of Villa di Cordignano (Treviso), reigniting local fans’ hopes of a new generational talent.
The race enters now its 87th edition, scheduled on April 6, 2026, and it’s ready to showcase once again the best international rising star in the U23 category. Often referred to as the “Spring World Championships”, the Easter Monday Classic has long been a launchpad for future World Tour professionals. Finn’s triumph reinforced that reputation, and extended the Belvedere’s long list of winners who have successfully stepped up to the top tier.
