After a standout 2025 edition won by Italy’s breakout talent Lorenzo Finn, the Giro del Belvedere is set to shine on the traditional Easter Monday’s spot: the brightest U23 prospects will storm to Villa di Cordignano (Treviso) looking for a chance among Pro’s

The 2025 season saw Italy back on the highest step of the Giro del Belvedere podium with former Junior Road World Champion and actually U23 Road World Champion, Lorenzo Finn. The brightest star of Italian cycling took a commanding victory on the roads of Villa di Cordignano (Treviso), reigniting local fans’ hopes of a new generational talent.

The race enters now its 87th edition, scheduled on April 6, 2026, and it’s ready to showcase once again the best international rising star in the U23 category. Often referred to as the “Spring World Championships”, the Easter Monday Classic has long been a launchpad for future World Tour professionals. Finn’s triumph reinforced that reputation, and extended the Belvedere’s long list of winners who have successfully stepped up to the top tier.

The roll of honour speaks for itself: besides Finn, in the last decade the race featured prestigious winners such as Andrea Vendrame, Romain Grégoire, Johannes Staune-Mitte, Gal Glivar and Spanish star Juan Ayuso.

The challenging route—168 km and over 2.000 m of elevation gain—will once again unfold around the climbs of Conche, Montaner, and the punchy ascent of Piai della Vigna, offering the ideal terrain for emerging talents aiming to make a statement on the global stage.

“We’re proud of the tradition and technical prestige that the Giro del Belvedere has confirmed throughout over 100 years of history,” said Gianfranco Carlet from the OC of Pro Belvedere. “We are working hard to keep the bar high, and at the same time we’re committed to showcasing the region that has supported us for so many years. Our goal is to deliver an event that is as memorable for fans as it is meaningful for the riders.”
