The Giro del Belvedere gets ready for the 80th edition’s official vernissage to be held on Friday, March 23rd in Treviso’s nearby. The upcoming U23 International Classic is envisaged in high style: on Monday, April 2nd in Villa di Cordignano (Treviso, Northern Italy) the world cycling’s best prospects will tackle one of the most prestigious races of the season.

Italian Cycling Federation President Renato Di Rocco will be the guest of honour alongside 1983 and 1990 Giro del Belvedere winners, Silvio Martinello and Ivan Gotti, witnessing stories and memories of their early careers.

The event celebrates its 80th edition this year with a special book “Ultima curva a sinistra” (Last turn on the left), written by Valentina Covre, to retrace the history of the Italian race with insights and funny anecdotes.

2018 Giro del Belvedere will line up in Villa di Cordignano 35 teams, with 19 overseas outfits.
